Finding ancient stone structures on Bodmin Moor

The image above is a cairn and cyst, a prehistoric burial site, on the slopes of Kilmar Tor on Bodmin Moor. It's not easy to find, but now, in the winter when the bracken has died away, it's clear to see. 

Below - more images of this, and of Bronze Age round houses (you can see the stones either side of a doorway) and stone wall creating enclosures. And two wonderful curly-horned rams!

I walk here often, and its always so inspring to find traces of ancient human actives here on the moor.
