Leskernick

A day on Bodmin Moor, walking to Leskernick from Bowithick.

On the southern side of Leskernick Hill, on West Moor, is an extensive prehistoric settlement of Bronze Age roundhouses, enclosures and field system. See https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment-and-planning/strategic-historic-environment-service/cornwall-and-scilly-historic-environment-record/access-to-monuments/find-by-name/find-monuments-by-name/f-q/leskernick/
It was a hot day, stunning views, and this  amazing well-preserved site amongst the clitter.
Then a walk back along the old leats that once fed water for the tin-streaming.
