Colours and composition outside my studio

Each morning I stand outside in the early morning light. Sometimes I see this roe deer, calmly walking up through the garden, then onto the hedge as it is in this photo, to jump down into the meadow. She's a frequent evening visitor. Update: Here's a lovely article about roe deer https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2020/sep/05/country-diary-roe-deer-buck-the-trend-of-decline
This June morning the low sunlight emphasised the beautiful trees and shadows. I saw strong compositions here for paintings, and to move a way from the neutral colours and use the greens and each colours of the garden.
So here are two new works in progress my studio wall.
