A day on the north Cornwall coast - crossing the SW coast path and a steep drop down to the beach

after a beach walk, picnic and paddle, I walked on along the coast path in a northerly direction, until Gull Rock came into view

stunning biodiversity, the flowers all along the cliff, the birds, butterflies - and very few people!

These images are so typical of our coastal paths. Today the sea was very calm, so just one surfer. It's my favourite coastal walk, a little more remote and usually very quiet.
